Cybersecurity Analyst Intern

As an integral member of the safety team, you will actively contribute to our cybersecurity risk assessment and management processes. You will ensure compliance with published cybersecurity policies and standards, alongside other analysts. Saguenay (Québec) or Home Office (Canada or Worldwide)

Tasks and responsabilities

Assist the team in identifying and documenting cybersecurity risks.
Contribute to the analysis of security alerts and the remediation of identified problems.
Participate in reviewing and updating information security compliance documentation.
Assist in the design and operational effectiveness testing of security controls.
Identify and help automate manual security compliance controls.
Contribute to the application of established standards (ISO/IEC 27001, SOC2 Type II) as well as CONFORMiT’s internal security standards.

Your profile

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a university program in cybersecurity, computer science or a related field.
Basic understanding of information security concepts and control frameworks (ISO, NIST, etc.).
Programming or scripting skills with at least one language such as Python, Go, C#, etc.
Previous knowledge of security technologies such as IPS/IDS and SIEM would be an asset.
Good command of English and French, both written and spoken.
Be curious, motivated and eager to learn in a professional environment.

Required Skills and Abilities

Basic knowledge of the AWS ecosystem would be appreciated.
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) would be a plus.
Cybersecurity certification, even at entry level, would be considered an asset.
