Senior Front-end Developer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as a Senior Frontend Developer with a diverse, multi-disciplinary, passionate and globally distributed team. As part of a long-established DevOps culture, you will contribute to the development of new functionalities in a modern web stack, based on Vue.js, and be responsible for quality, security and performance standards. You will identify and solve complex problems and participate in the design of the technology roadmap. Above all, you'll be a facilitator, teacher and mentor to your team members. Tasks and responsabilities

Contribute to and influence the overall development direction of CONFORMiT.
Lead efforts to evolve CONFORMiT’s architecture.
Solve technical problems of advanced scope and complexity.
Actively seek out complex pitfalls impeding our team effectiveness, then propose and implement solutions.
Promote improvements in product quality, safety and performance;
Stimulate innovation within the team to enhance its willingness to experiment and boldly tackle challenging problems.
Mentor all developers on your team to help them strengthen their technical skills and remove obstacles to their autonomy.
Offer autonomy and confidence in the delivery of enhancements and features with a minimum of guidance and support from other team members.

Your profile

Required Qualifications

Professional experience with Vue.js or another modern JavaScript Web Framework (React, Angular, Svelte, etc.).
Experience in writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, etc.).
Solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript concepts.
Proven ability to prevent, diagnose and solve performance and optimization problems.
A willingness to guide, coach and help other developers develop.
Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely on complex technical, architectural and/or organizational issues and to propose iterative solutions.
Ability to work in a highly agile and intensely iterative software development process.
A leadership style that facilitates recognition of your skills by peers, who will draw on your track record and advice to develop.

Required Skills and Abilities

Experience in technical leadership roles.
Experience working with BEM methodology and SCSS.
Passionate and adept at learning new programming languages and paradigms.
