DevOps Engineer

As part of our team, the DevOps Engineer will play a key role in implementing and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and secure integration and continuous deployment. You will also be the architect of Infrastructure as Code practices, enabling automated and repeatable systems management and scalability. You will contribute to the operational excellence of the platform and its Cloud infrastructure. Saguenay (Québec) or Home Office (Canada or Worldwide)

Tasks and responsabilities

Take full ownership of services, from design to implementation, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Drive automation and continuous improvement of infrastructure processes.
Define and optimize SLOs/SLIs for flawless performance and reliability.
Govern, manage and optimize AWS-based cloud platforms, ensuring a scalable and secure cloud architecture.
Achieve cost savings by optimizing infrastructure costs and using cost optimization tools.
Respond rapidly to incidents, responding to alerts and handling customer support escalations.
Design and maintain effective monitoring and alert systems.
Document infrastructure and processes.

Your profile

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in managing large-scale production Kubernetes environments.
Mastery of at least one major Cloud service (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Programming or scripting skills in at least two languages (Python, Go, Ruby, etc.).
Expertise in CI/CD, GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience of observability tools in a production environment.
Creative problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mind.
Exceptional attention to detail, communication and documentation skills.
Excellent understanding of Linux systems and Unix shell environment.

Required Skills and Abilities

Specific knowledge and experience of cost structures and cost optimization tools related to AWS (or similar Azure, GCP, etc.).
AWS certifications.
Solid skills in modern container storage and network architecture.
