Account Executive – Canada

Tasks and responsabilities

  • Sell CONFORMIT’s SaaS Solutions to prospective customers within a geographical territory. 
  • Focus on a set of “Ideal Customer Profiles”, for example, within the Paper & Forest Products, Mining & Metals, Energy, etc. 
  • Manage 6-12+ month sales cycles, selling directly to a buying jury at site/facility level like Maintenance managers, Operation managers, EHS Managers, IT Managers, etc. 
  • Meet quarterly sales goals. 
  • Manage and maintain sales pipeline through forecasting, resource allocation, account strategies, and planning. 
  • Ensure all prospect interactions and meetings are accurately and consistently recorded in CRM, along with forecast and related prospect information. 
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the CONFORMiT SaaS and services. 
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to solve customer problems and move deal forward. 
  • Develop, present, and sell the company’s value proposition to prospects 
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale. 
  • Maintain consistent and prompt response time with all clients. 
  • Penetrate key accounts. meet. and develop business relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Attend industry-specific tradeshow to generate leads. 
  • Travel will be needed to understand customer challenges and build trust. You may expect to be on the road 25% of your time. 
  • Identify and document sales strategy to develop & capture targeted markets to meet revenue objectives. 
  • Closely collaborate with Product Marketing Managers on building industry and account strategies. 
  • Align with the Marketing team on content needs, data gathering, campaign sequences, and activities.
Your profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. 
  • Minimum of 5 years in B2B sales. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bilingual English and French.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation. 
  • Mastering Office 365 suite and modern sales technologies. 
  • You can lead complex conversations in a highly consultative and proactive manner. 
  • Self-starter persona, dependable, and able to respond quickly and accurately on multiple priorities with empathy. 
  • Previous experience as a Business/Sales Development Representative is highly preferred. 
  • Experience in selling to manufacturing industries like Pulp & Paper, Mining & Metals, or engineering is highly preferred.
