The U.S. Department of Labor and Mexican Consulate Renew Alliance to Protect and Educate Workers, Employers in Kansas, Missouri on Safety

The alliance continues eight years of a collaborative safety and training relationship. OSHA and the Consulate General of Mexico in Kansas City renewed an alliance that was first signed in 2013 to continue their collaborative relationship to promote workplace safety and health with the consulate and Mexican nationals working in Kansas and Missouri. According to a press release , the goal of the alliance is to ensure Mexican nationals and employers have access to education and training resources to promote workers’ rights in protecting their occupational safety and health and to help them understand U.S. domestic law concerning the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers and employees under the Occupational Safety and Health Act . “The list of accomplishments made possible by our alliance with the Mexican Consulate during the last eight years is impressive.
